DAKR TV broadcasts regional news, journalism focused on daily life in the Most region, municipal politics, culture, etc. Gradually, lifestyle magazines and documentaries from the Most region, nature and tourism, sport and motoring, home and family, culture and music, technology and hobby, health and lifestyle, etc. will also be included.
In 1994, following a "PUBLIC HEARING" before the "Council for Radio and Television Broadcasting", one of the first licenses for regional television broadcasting in the Czech Republic was granted to the TV station "REGIONAL TELEVISION DAKR". The company of the same name operated television broadcasting on a shared frequency first with TV Premiéra and later with Prima TV until 2009. In this year, the broadcasting of this station as well as other stations in the R1 group was terminated not for economic reasons, but due to problems related to the termination of analogue broadcasting and the transition to DVB-T. The long experience in the production and operation of television broadcasting, knowledge of the market in the media field and professional technical background led the partners to establish a new company TV PRODUKCE DAKR s.r.o. in April 2009.
