WAGA-TV is a Fox-operated television station licensed in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. The station is owned by Fox Corporation's subsidiary Fox Television Stations. WAGA-TV's studios and broadcaster are located on Briarcliff Road Northeast in the Druid Hills area of unincorporated DeKalb County, just outside the Atlanta city limits.
Syndicated programs airing WAGA-TV beginning April 2022 include Judge Judy, Divorce Court, The Wendy Williams Show, The Real, Dish Nation, TMZ on TV and Access Hollywood.
FOX 5 Atlant currently airs 73 hours of locally produced newscasts each week. In terms of number of hours devoted to newscasting, this is the highest newscasting performance among TV channels of Georgia.
WAGA began serving as the premier television station for the Atlanta Falcons following the team's formation in 1966, under CBS's contractual television rights to a pre-AFL merger of the National Football League. The station carried most of the CBS regional or national television programs from the Falcons game until its contractual rights for the National Football Conference were entered into in 1993.
