RT France, also known as RT en français, the French version of Russian news channel RT. The channel was planned to be launched in 2014, but due to the currency crisis in Russia, the plans were postponed. In 2015, the channel was replaced with a French-language website that broadcast several programs. On the first day after its launch, the channel broadcast a report on the two-year presence of the Russian air force in Syria, a documentary about North Korea and an interview with filmmaker Oliver Stone. RT France is housed in 1,800 square meters of offices in the Arcs de Seine complex in Boulogne-Billancourt, a suburb of Paris, which is also home to some of the largest French TV channels. The channel employs 150 people, including 50 journalists. The channel employs famous journalists and politicians in France, incl.
