Show TV is a national TV channel in Turkey owned by the Ciner Media Group since 2013, acquired from the Turkish savings deposit insurance fund, which in turn was acquired from Çukurova Media Group after Çukurova was forced to sell due to tax debts. The channel replaces the now defunct ITU TV frequencies and was originally founded by Turkish businessmen Erol Aksoy and Haldun Simavi, although it was launched on March 1, 1991, when it begins test broadcasts.
